We love anything you can take on a summer picnic. Bubbly beverages and food made for sharing. With luscious layers of potato and pumpkin, this tasty Potato & pumpkin gateau dish is perfect for any moveable feast. Or for anytime you need a simple but elegant lunch or dinner.
Serve cold or reheat in a slow oven
Keep refrigerated prior to serving, consume or freeze before use by date.
The gateau is quite large (23cm diameter) and can be cut into slices and frozen for later use. Defrost overnight in the fridge when you are ready to use. The gateau can be enjoyed cold, or reheated as below.
Microwave: Transfer to a microwave safe dish and microwave for approximately 2 minutes. Continue heating in 20 second intervals until desired temperature is reached.
Oven: Remove from box and transfer to baking tray or dish. Cover with foil or baking paper and warm in oven at 140 degrees C for 45 minutes. Remove covering for last 10 minutes for a crisp top. If not reheating the whole gateau, reduce the time accordingly.
