Frequently Asked Questions
We have provided answers below to some of the questions we are more frequently asked. However we are happy to talk to you if you have any specific requests or queries and encourage you to contact us by phone or email with any concerns you may have.
1) How does it work?
Simply choose your favourite dishes and order online. Check that we deliver to your postcode, choose your delivery date, and let us know where you would like your parcel delivered to, and we will do the rest.
2) Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order.
3) Can I pick up the order from your kitchen?
Yes you can. Simply choose “Kitchen pickup” when you are checking out and select a pickup time. Pickup is free and the automatic $10 delivery fee will be refunded.
4) Can I add a special message to my order for gifts?
Yes you can. Messages can be written in the cart page at checkout, or you can email to us. A card will be placed inside the parcel with your personalised message. Messages will be printed exactly as typed, and make sure to say who the order is from.
5) How much notice do you need for an order?
Order deadlines depend on the delivery location. For Northern Rivers orders can be delivered the same day if ordered by 10am. For Gold Coast and Brisbane orders, delivery will be the following day. If you miss our delivery window, email or call us and we will try to accommodate you.
6) How do I know if you have received my order?
You will receive an email confirmation that we have your order. If you have not received confirmation please contact us on 0421106229.
7) Can I make changes to my order?
We are unable to make changes to orders already fulfilled and in transit. Please contact as soon as possible us on 0421106229 and we will see if changes are possible prior to fulfillment.
8) Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Enter the postcode of the delivery address into our postcode checker to see if delivery is available to that location.
9) When do you deliver?
We deliver Monday to Friday, between 3pm and 6pm in the Northern Rivers, and 11am to 2pm in Brisbane and Gold Coast. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. We are unable to deliver on weekends or public holidays.
10) What are the delivery charges?
Delivery to Northern Rivers is $10, and delivery to Gold Coast and Brisbane is $19.50 per order. Deliveries over $100 are free. Kitchen pickup is free.
11) What if I'm not home when you deliver?
Having your order delivered safely and successfully is our priority. If there appears to be a safe place to leave your order, the parcel will be left at the suitable location in our cooler box. If it’s not suitable to leave the parcel, we will contact you for alternative arrangements. Redelivery fees may apply.
12) What if my address is outside your delivery area?
If you are outside our delivery area but would still like to organise a delivery, please contact us and we will see if we can schedule a special delivery. This may incur an additional delivery fee.
13) How do I know the parcel was delivered?
Once a parcel is delivered, we will email you a fulfillment confirmation.
14) What packaging will the parcel be in?
The parcel will be delivered in a special cooler box with ice packs to maintain temperature. Our cooler boxes are environmentally friendly and can be placed in your kerbside recycling bin.
15) Can I order for the week ahead and freeze the meals until I need them?
Yes. Most of our meals can be frozen and defrosted in your fridge overnight. Some things like the salads and desserts are not suitable to freeze but can be delivered to you 5 days a week.
